Product Care

Cleaning

Regular care is essential to keeping your leather jacket looking timeless. Follow these simple steps to refresh your garment at home:

  1. Dust: Gently remove surface dirt using a soft-bristle brush.

  2. Wash: Create a mild solution using distilled water and a neutral, gentle soap. Dip a microfiber cloth into the mix, wring it out until damp, and gently wipe the jacket from top to bottom.

  3. Rinse: Use a fresh damp cloth (water only) to wipe away any soap residue.

  4. Dry: Pat the jacket with a dry towel to absorb excess moisture.

  5. Air Dry: Hang your garment to dry naturally away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Never use a hair dryer or radiator, as heat can crack the leather.

Note: For serious stains or deep conditioning, we strongly recommend visiting a professional leather specialist

Storing

To keep your leather jacket looking brand new, follow these four golden rules:

  1. Support the Shoulders: Use a sturdy wooden or padded hanger to maintain the jacket’s natural shape.

  2. Avoid Plastic: Use breathable garment bags only. Plastic traps humidity and damages the hide.

  3. No Folding: Always hang your jacket to prevent deep wrinkles and cracks.

  4. Cool & Dry: Store it in a temperate environment, away from radiators and direct sun exposure

Special Care

Light rain is fine, but avoid heavy downpours. If you do get caught in the rain, don’t worry. Simply wipe off any standing water and hang the jacket to dry in a cool, shaded area. Crucially, do not use artificial heat or direct sunlight to speed up the drying process, as this will damage the leather’s texture

Moisture Control: Standard leather is not water-resistant. Heavy moisture can make the hide brittle. While you may apply third-party water-repellent sprays, please follow the manufacturer’s instructions carefully, as we cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by these treatments.

Routine Maintenance:

  • Clean: Wipe away dust and dirt regularly.

  • Condition: Apply a high-quality leather conditioner 1–2 times a year. This keeps the leather soft, prevents cracking, and adds a layer of protection.

Strictly Avoid:

  • Machine washing, tumble drying, or dry cleaning.

  • Ironing, bleaching, or using harsh detergents.

  • Direct heat sources (force drying).

  • Exposure to alcohol, oil, grease, or direct sunlight for extended periods.
